Lunatik: mobile tuning station
This is the prototype mobile tuning station. It imparts a load on the engine through the rollers letting you run up the motor's rpm's and tune your carb in a matter of seconds without taking the motor out of the Baja. Its very light and easy to carry or store. Your Baja simply sits on the station by means of a front locking pin and a rear positioning rack. As the rpm's increase the rear of the Baja "squats" and is held in place. I have run this set-up many, many times without incident. The front wheels of the Baja are supported off the ground. The station allows you to get a baseline tune on your engine, break in an engine under load, trouble shoot drive line problems, etc without needing to find an open area or road or without removing the engine from the vehicle.
It works on a Baja with any A-arms, axle extenders, tires or wheels. The rear rack will accommodate the stock set-up or the new "Modifier" rear bumper.
